LET ME INTRODUCE

I’m Alex, licensed clinical social worker, learner & listener

I am a Peruvian-American EMDR Psychotherapist with a specialized focus and educational background in Trauma Therapy and Perinatal Mental Health. With over a decade of experience as a social worker, I have supported children, adults, and families navigating complex trauma across NYC/NJ and South Florida. My EMDR training, with a particular emphasis on perinatal mental health, was completed at the Institute for Creative Mindfulness, and I trained as a Full Spectrum Doula at Ancient Song Doula Services in Brooklyn, NY.

I hold an MSW from Florida State University, am fluent in Spanish, and proudly served in the Florida Army National Guard. In my practice, I bring empathy, humor, and compassion to create a safe and supportive space for healing. I offer virtual therapy sessions in both English and Spanish.
